Beauty Box 5 Review
I love getting things in the mail. I will literally watch out my window most of the day looking for the mailman. That is why Monthly Box Subscriptions are so great for me. I get small treats in the mail JUST FOR ME. My latest box arrival was from Beauty Box 5.
Beauty Box 5 is a monthly box subscription that comes each month in a little blue box containing a variety of makeup, beauty supplies, accessories and/or nail polish. The monthly subscription fee is charged to your credit card on the 1st of each month.
Signing up is simple. Go to www.BeautyBox5.com. Click on Get Box. Follow a few steps and then you’re on your way to some serious beauty fun. The Beauty Box 5 subscription is not personalized for you so there are no quizzes to answer. Simply enter your info and off you go. The subscription can be paid for at a monthly rate, quarterly rate or a yearly rate. The month to month rate is only $12. Shipping is free. You can also go shopping directly from their website for extra beauty supplies. Gifting a subscription to someone is also available.
Watch my video for a full review of Beauty Box 5 and unveiling of the December Box. I love the quality of the products selected each month. I always find 1 or 2 items that I really really like. Being that the contents are not personalized to my taste, I find there are often things in my box that I do not like or will not use. After 4 months of enjoying their products, I decided to cancel my membership. I would like to note here that canceling membership is not a simple click of the button.
To cancel membership, you must call their customer service department OR email them. I decided to email them. Upon my email request sent yesterday Dec 23rd, I received an automated reply stating they were out of the office for holidays and would be back Monday Dec 29th. They also sent another email stating that it could take up to 4 days to receive a reply due to high volume. My credit card will be charge again on Jan. 1st, so I am in hopes they respond to my request in time to prevent being charged another month. I am a little disappointed in this. I feel that canceling should be a little easier. Maybe they should set it up within your account to where you can click a link and your services are cancelled. The lesson here IS…. If you join Beauty Box 5 and later down the road decide you do not want it anymore, DO NOT wait until last week of month to try and resolve this. Give customer service plenty of time to respond and meet your request.
If you have been considering the Beauty Box 5 membership, watch my video, then go to their website and give them a try. I do not regret having my Beauty Box 5 subscription for the last 4 months. I have received some pretty great items.
