Gaming, what is it? Hi I’m Brandon, Stacie’s son, when I got asked this question by my friends I said: “Wasting your time on stupid video games?” Now I always loved my PS3 games with my dad, but I loved learning more, and I still do, but now I am a gamer! The answer to the first question is: commitment, and time. Now this may sound stupid, but gaming is actually good for kids! While this post sounds like a way to get more video games, but it isn’t. Gaming can relieve kids of stress, anger, and just give them a good time. I’ll be your guide to the world of gaming. Today we are talking about Skyrim Elder Scrolls V. Ahh Skyrim, in depth story, historical facts, and sweet sweet weapons!
First we’ll talk about the story. In this game you, as the dragonborn (a being that has the soul of the dragon, can speak their language, absorb their souls, and use their ‘special power’), must defeat the evil dragon Alduin who is resurrecting the evil dragons for his army, and you are the only one who can defeat them! As the only dragonborn left you must absorb the dragon souls to make them stay dead. Their special power is that they can debate! Now in dragon language their debates are deadly, and they use shouts to debate. The first shout you learn is unrelenting force. Each shout you learn must use a dragon soul or two just to unlock. Now while the game is fiction it can teach you about disease, poverty, and the magical dragons that roamed the earth. The way it relieves stress and anger is, you can kill enemies and sleep away everything in your very own home. The only thing I have left to say is: the game goes past graphic expectations of ten years ago, and goes further in than just the main storyline. This game has so much content it takes years just to do it all and still have more to do! I would have told you more, but then I would have ruined the game for you.
