          In life, we have to learn to be flexible.  The main focus of this blog and my website www.beapositivelight.net, is to help others find the happy things in life and be grateful for all we have received.  If we can do this, we can lead a happier, more fulfilling life.  Then, when we learn to achieve this, we can be a positive light for the world. But even the happiest, most perfect life has stress and down times.  We all need to learn how to handle these situations.  I recently read that in every situation we encounter, it is not the facts of the situation that is the problem but how we perceive them and react to them.  I have found this to be very true.  I am an extremely emotional person.  I am not afraid to admit that most of the time I react without thinking.  This can cause me great problems sometimes.  I where my heart on my shoulder and get easily hurt.  I am having to learn how to control my emotions and learn to think before reacting.  SO NOT EASY.  I am utilizing a combination of Meditation and Yoga to help me learn to take life a little less emotionally.  I have previously written about the benefits of Meditation.  My website, www.beapositivelight.net,  lists several great resources for both Meditation and Yoga.

Yoga has so many physical and mental health benefits.  It has been practiced for well over 5000 years.  There are many styles of yoga to pick from, therefore providing an option for everyone.  I feel so passionate about yoga that I hope one day to find the time to become a certified teacher.  Yoga is not only an exercise but can also be a way of life.  So of the many benefits of Yoga can include:

Yoga has so many benefits.  It has a goal of uniting the mind, body and spirit.  Many believe, through Yoga, we can find harmony and start healing ourselves.  Yoga can be a major vehicle through which we can find peace and happiness within our lives.
